Welcome to A Taste of Bordeaux. By booking a tour with us or using our website, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Tour Bookings
1.1 Booking Confirmation
A booking is confirmed only after you receive a written confirmation from us via email. Availability is subject to confirmation at the time of booking.
1.2 Booking Requirements
- All participants must be at least 18 years old to consume alcohol
- Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
- You must provide accurate contact and participant information
1.3 Group Size
Our tours have minimum and maximum participant requirements. We reserve the right to combine small groups or cancel tours that do not meet minimum requirements (with full refund).
2. Pricing and Payment
2.1 Prices
All prices are quoted in Euros (EUR) and include applicable taxes. Prices are subject to change without notice, but confirmed bookings will be honored at the quoted price.
2.2 What's Included
Each tour listing specifies what is included (e.g., transportation, tastings, guide services). Items not explicitly listed are not included.
2.3 Payment
Payment terms will be communicated at the time of booking. We accept payment via bank transfer or secure online payment methods.
3. Cancellation Policy
3.1 Cancellation by You
- More than 7 days before: Full refund
- 3-7 days before: 50% refund
- Less than 48 hours: No refund
Cancellations must be made in writing via email to hello@atobordeaux.com.
3.2 Cancellation by Us
We may cancel a tour due to:
- Insufficient participants (minimum not met)
- Extreme weather conditions
- Unforeseen circumstances (venue closure, road conditions, etc.)
In case of cancellation by us, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.
3.3 No-Show
If you fail to appear at the designated meeting point at the scheduled time without prior notice, no refund will be provided.
4. Tour Modifications
4.1 Changes by You
Requests to change dates or transfer bookings are subject to availability and must be made at least 72 hours in advance. Change fees may apply.
4.2 Changes by Us
We reserve the right to modify tour itineraries due to weather, road conditions, venue availability, or other factors beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to provide equivalent alternatives.
5. Participant Responsibilities
5.1 Conduct
Participants are expected to:
- Arrive at the meeting point on time
- Follow the guide's instructions
- Respect vineyard and venue rules
- Consume alcohol responsibly
- Not engage in disruptive behavior
5.2 Health and Fitness
Some tours involve walking on uneven terrain. Please inform us of any mobility issues, allergies, or dietary requirements before booking.
5.3 Alcohol Consumption
Wine tastings are a key component of our tours. Participants must drink responsibly. We reserve the right to refuse service to intoxicated individuals.
6. Liability
6.1 Our Liability
A Taste of Bordeaux acts as an intermediary between you and third-party service providers (chateaux, restaurants, transport). We are not liable for:
- Actions or omissions of third-party providers
- Loss or damage to personal belongings
- Injuries resulting from your own negligence
- Circumstances beyond our reasonable control
6.2 Your Liability
You are responsible for any damage you cause to property during tours and must compensate the affected parties directly.
6.3 Insurance
We recommend that participants obtain appropriate travel insurance covering cancellation, medical expenses, and personal belongings.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and tour descriptions, is the property of A Taste of Bordeaux and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without permission.
8. Photography and Media
We may take photos during tours for marketing purposes. By participating, you consent to the use of your image. If you prefer not to be photographed, please inform your guide at the start of the tour.
9. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bordeaux, France.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The current version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
